Lesson Structure
Our program delivers dynamic, two-minute learning segments that keep students engaged and progressing. Teachers are equipped with detailed lesson plans, including clear objectives, essential materials, and engaging activities. This structured approach fosters a predictable classroom environment, allowing students to quickly grasp new concepts and teachers to focus on individualized support.
With a strong emphasis on classroom management, each lesson is divided into six focused stages. This step-by-step system optimizes learning time and minimizes distractions, ensuring maximum educational benefit.
Letter Introduction: Consonant sounds, names, and letter forms are presented using flashcards.
Story-Based Learning: Short stories featuring words beginning with the target consonant are used to embed new vocabulary within a contextually rich environment. Repeated exposure to these words in subsequent reading materials reinforces comprehension and retention.
Phonological Awareness through Song: Letter-specific songs are introduced, with singing and matching activities to develop auditory discrimination and phonological awareness. These songs also contribute to the development of prosody (rhythm, stress, intonation).
Syllable Building and Recognition: Students practice forming syllables by combining the new consonant with previously learned vowels. They also learn to write and identify words beginning with these new syllables.
Reading Practice: Focus is placed on high-frequency words containing the practiced syllables, reinforcing pronunciation and fluency.
Lesson Recap and Extension: A review of learned content is followed by the introduction of simple sentences to expand language use.
